The rising sun encroaches behind her as it offers the hope of a new day. The words, "Liberty," and "In God We Trust," are both stamped on the obverse, along with the coin's date of mintage.
• Reverse: The reverse shows the US Coat of Arms with 13 stars above it to represent the original 13 colonies. The reverse also bears the coin's weight and purity to prove its validity.
